Weekly Private Beginner Wheel Classes

Term 1, 2026 | 3 Feb – 10 Apr | 10 Weeks

These weekly private beginner wheel classes are designed for anyone wanting to learn the foundations of wheel throwing in a relaxed, supportive studio environment.

Over the 10-week term, you’ll be guided step-by-step through the core techniques of working on the pottery wheel – from centring clay and shaping forms to trimming, glazing and finishing your own functional pieces. Each session is one hour long and tailored to your individual pace and skill level.

Classes are suitable for complete beginners, adults, teens, and children aged 6+.

All materials and firings are included, so you can simply turn up and create.

Class Times Available:

Thursdays:

7–8am | 8–9am | 9–10am | 10–11am

1–2pm | 2–3pm | 6:15–7:15pm

Fridays:

7–8am | 8–9am | 9–10am | 2–3pm

Investment:

$60 per lesson (commitment to the full term required)

Includes:

• All clay, tools, glazes & firings

• Personalised instruction

• Finished ceramic pieces to take home

Spots are limited due to the private nature of the classes.

Booking & Payment:

An $80 booking deposit is required to secure your place.

The remaining balance for the full term is due before or on your first class.

Your deposit is non-refundable and confirms your commitment to the full 10-week term.
